Open House
Manchester’s Currier Museum of Art opens its doors

It’s been almost two years. Thirty-three thousand square feet have been added. An approximately 36-foot contemporary steel sculpture greets Beech Street. It even has a new street address. And now, with much fanfare (and a week of free admission), the Currier Museum of Art in Manchester reopens Sunday, March 30.

People: She wants to represent

Jennifer Horn, an award-winning radio talk show host and newspaper columnist, has announced a bid for the Republican nomination for the U.S. House of Representatives 2nd District seat. A longtime resident of Nashua, with her husband, Bill, and their five children, Horn has been an active volunteer in the community since she was 18. She received the Spirit of Hope Award for her work with the Chernobyl Children’s Project, and has served with a number of civic organizations. This is her first run for public office.

Theater: These aren't recitals, folks

Tucked away in what looks like a former firehouse near Dr. Crisp School in Nashua, professional dancers rehearse in converted studio space. Some are imported under contract from out of state and are preparing for Northern Ballet Theatre’s production of Cinderella.
