Farm Fresh — 07/03/2025

On the cover

It’s a great year for berries, so area farmers tell John Fladd in this week’s cover story about farms where you can pick your own: strawberries now, blueberries as soon as this weekend and more as the season progresses. We talked to farms that were at the top of the list of reader recommendations according to our Best of 2025 (see all the results from this year’s readers’ poll in the April 10 issue in our digital library at hippopress.com).

Also on the cover Find fun for the long weekend and a crafts fair and area Independence Day celebrations (page 13). John Fladd talks to the owners of Two Moons Coffee & Curiosities in Manchester (page 16). And there is lots of music on tap for this weekend: Michael Witthaus talks to Mike Reilly of Pure Prairie League ahead of their July 5 show at The Range in Mason (page 22). Find listings of live music at restaurants, breweries and in parks and town commons in the Music This Week (page 23). And find our Concert listings of ticketed shows on page 26.
