Vacation with a book — 6/27/2024

Make any summer day feel like a vacation by relaxing in the sun (or the shade or the air conditioning) with a good book. We get recommendations from local librarians and book sellers for what to read when you kick back this summer.

Woo-hoo, school’s out! So how are you going to fill those days until the kids head back to class? We present our annual Kids’ Guide to Summer, with a look at fairs, concerts, theater, sports, library happenings and more goings-on to entertain kids this summer.

Berry season is nearly here — look forward to a sweet parade of locally grown berries starting with strawberries in June, and blueberries and raspberries in July.
